2008 WORLD SERIES OF BASEBALL CHAMPIONS.
I went to the parade today, and it was out of control. I couldnt find anyone I was supposed to meet because cellphones didnt work. The news is saying there were 2 million people there, Broad street was packed from City hall all the way to Packer Ave. Everyone was happy, drinking beers, hi fiving, it was great…
Still kinda bummed I missed the immediate aftermath, here’s what Chris told me and Hersh:
I saw a car get flipped over at 1:30 am….then I figured the metro was a
high profie target for flippage so I retreated to fishtown. Broad st. was
repaved with broken beer bottles and every lamp post had some human-ape
hybrid swinging off of it. Of all the stores to get looted…it was the
luggage store on broad and chestnut, people all over the city were coming
out of bars like they just gotten off an inter-continental flight. Cops
spent most of their time stomping out small fires of burning debris. It was
like the last day of school you dreamt about when you were a sophmore in
high school.
Philadelphia you deserved this, Its been a long time coming. There are a million more pictures below.

Yes it’s that beautiful time of year again in philadelphia, when the tire tree’s lose all their leaves and neighborhood children harvest the fruit for a thanksgiving center piece.
Hopefully these were not uprooted by drunkensweatpantsfans after the PHILLIES WON THE WORLD SERIES!!!!!!!!!

Looks like someone got there revenge on the whole going green thing… or maybe they just got caught kissing the neighbor. Either way it’s wrong, what a waste of totally good McDonalds! (Saw this on the way to work… should have waited for the guy/girl to get there and video taped their reaction)
