About 6 months ago I was wondering around a giant flea market and noticed a washed out box with a picture of a giant plush bunny on it. Before even approaching the box I knew I would buy it for Lia, regardless of what was inside. It turned out to be nothing less than a perfect pink plush animatronic bunny, that walks around and rings a bell.
The bunny sat patiently at home for almost two months as it turned from a Christmas gift into just gift and eventually found it’s way to Philadelphia.
After a week or so Lia called and let me know that she had received the bunny. Today I got a message from her and it turns out she has been taking the bunny around to all of our favorite Philly spots and photographing it… this rules.
We love you Lia.

SOHLHOLIO PART TWO – TRAINING

After seeing the first SOHLHOLIO post, Jonah instantly remembered these photos of young SOHLHOLIO and sent them over…
The photos were from September, 9th 2001, the day SOHLHOLIO mastered the nunchucks.
We were all a lot tougher back then and would walk around Philly with cool ninja weapons.
Note the Grave Digger tee shirt… this shirt was worn for 3 months straight as part of his warrior training.
Also, ironically, both SOHLHOLIO posts have photos from the same street corner, almost 8 years apart.

Over the past few weeks (yesterday) I have been curating a display (here) of Sarah’s photos from the car. There are so many great photos (these are my favorite recent ones). The 5th Ave Theater (the place is awesome) The funny shaped gum drop trees that line Inglewood Blvd. (so rad) and the sky opening up at 7am somewhere near the CA/NV border… (yay Vegas) Anywho… enjoy.
